    Looks like a glorified Firestik.

    If your not exploring trails, the mount option (pass. fender) would work for most applications.

    The "risk" as I see it, is the oft encountered tree branch taking that off rather quickly, especially since there is no spring mounted to the base.

    Check out some Firestik options at Walcott CB, they have a wide selection of NGP (no ground plane) antennas and mounts.

    Looks like an overpriced 2 foot Firestik. Trying to get coax mounted to that would be a nightmare not to mention all the other stuff you would have to buy to get it to work.
