Snorkel

Not sure if someone has asked this or not but I'm looking to put a snorkel on my 2004. I was looking at the airflow snorkel and it says its for 2nd gen tacos and the safari takes a little bit of work to fit it on the tacoma. Any suggestions or references that might help me find something that will fit my truck?

Thanks

If i'm not mistaken I think they come with a nice template to where to drill your mounting holes and snorkel hole. Think you'll have to buy a 3" or 4" hole saw bit. I haven't personally installed one but have seen a few installed.

Minute 3:51 is when he installs it

This should show you a pretty detailed install.

I say definitely get the Safari snorkel. It's proven and is an excellent design.

yea. the kits are made for 3.4. I made th mistake of buying oe for a 2.7. The externals fit precise but you have to customize the internal plumbing.
Check fatbobs garage, occasionally they have a sale. Thin I got mine for $440 shipped.
