I just purchased a 2004 2.4cyc 5 lug 15" wheels truck. I love everything about it but its height. I would love to add a 3-6" in height. When I check online it looks like it has to be 6 lug wheels. Any help would be appreciated.

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
you wanted a prerunner then, they are 4wd ride height and stiffer suspension

you could always give that one to me and buy another one, I love the 5 lug ride height and soft suspension, wish I had a 2004 version

you can do a conversion over to 6 lugs and 4wd suspension and ride height but it wont be cheap, might be best to have a donor truck for everything so its easier on your wallet

also the tranny gearwill have to be replaced to change wheel sizes

how many miles does it have and what did you pay for it?

check the 5-lug section, they make kits for lifts for yours.

keep in mind adding more weight will reduce your mpg and performance

or like Keaker said you just shoulda bought a PreRunner :D

Thanks for the info. I gave $8600 for the truck. I do not think it is worth the trouble to try and raise it. :)
