I would think with you being in Denver a 4X4 would be mandatory... But, keep an eye out and there will be some deals coming into summer. Good Luck!

i bought mine about a month ago. 02 double cab, 2.7 liter 4 cyl., automatic, 2wd, prerunner, TRD with barely 100k miles and paid 10k $ . the guy i bought mine from was askin 12.5k $. mine is in what i would call excellent shape. a couple door dings but otherwise clean. didn't read what the one you wanted cost but, per the toyota dealer in my area, i didnt do too bad. plus they don't seem to be very many for sale here in s.c. and, once again per the toyota dealer, when one goes up for sale it doesnt last too long. i'll tell you this. i'm a FORD man from birth but i wouldnt trade my new-to me-taco for say a new x-cab ranger. 4wd or not.

If you have a family.....hold out for the double cab....well worth it. My double is our family's primary travel vehicle. I paid 12,000 for it with 49K miles, fully loaded Pre-Runner.....does great in the snow (moved from Northern Cali recently). I also picked up a 2001 Extra Cab for my own use (commuter, etc). The Doublecab is a must for more than 2 people though!!

motive shot me that link as well... I've moved away from the double cab, its just more truck than I need. I've just purchased a 99 Taco (reg cab 4x4) and look forward to tweaking it. (c:
