I went against the advice given here a couple weeks ago and did a drive shaft replacement instead of swapping out the entire rear end. It makes sense to redo the whole rear end but price wise it worked out cheaper for me to get the axle shaft done only.

I've ordered a replacement axle shaft from a scrap yard. I've been looking for the bearing and seals. A more complicated task than it sounds.

I have a rear wheel drive. All the parts seem to be fore the 4x4.

My question is the size for the rear wheel bearing/seals should be 7.5" for the 95 Taco, rear wheel drive, 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder, non-abs, correct?

I found an axle bearing and seal kit:

USA STANDARD GEAR Part # USA10044 Axle bearing & seat kit
    Rear; RWD; Toyota 7.5"
Rear; 4WD; Toyota; w/o Factory Locker
Rear; RWD; Toyota; w/o Factory Locker
    Rear; 4WD; Toyota V6; w/Factory Locker
Rear; RWD; Toyota V6; w/Factory Locker

According to that list my Taco should be compatible.
