I lifted my '03 TRD DC last month. I installed Sway A Way 2.0 coilovers preset to 2" front lift up front and OME Dakar's with the top overload removed and stock length shackles in the rear. I was initially 1/2" higher in the rear but I'm now 3/4" shorter. So should I put the OL leafs back in? Dial the CO's down.....which I don't want to do really or get a longer shackle? I'm afraid if I put the OL's back in the rear will be too stiff? The ride and flex is pretty fantastic btw. Anyway, opinions appreciated. Fwiw my truck does have a topper as well. Thanks!

Put the leaf back on. You'll be just fine with the dakars if you have a topper.

My next question then, if I go that route. Could I just unbolt the u-bolts and lift the rear up enough to get the center pin out and reinstall the overload or would I have to completely remove the pack from the truck to do it? This is probably the cheapest route for sure. I'm surprised they settled 1.25" honestly.

Nah man, just open the pack and slide it in there. No need to take it out. Treat it like an AAL install.
