Hopefully this is an easy question. Will the newer Tacoma/4 runner wheels fit on my truck. I currently have 15" wheels but getting harder to find 15" tires? Thanks for any help

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I couldn't say 100% on that, but you should be able to find a set of 16's off a first gen relatively easy. Mine came with 16's so they must of used 15's on the older models.

I've never personally had trouble finding tires for 15s but you can find many 16s that will work for your truck.

No because the offset and backspacing is different.

The new wheels are more flush and will cause all sorts of clearance issues for you.

Newer wheels are typically 5 inch back space and the old stuff like you in 4 inch backspace.

So these will suck in 1 inch more than your current wheels.

I like to buy take off tires. N you hardly ever find those in 15's. So your saying the newer wheels will suck into the fenders more and cause tires to rub?

What do you mean by 'newer'? 2nd gen?
I replaced my 15" stock wheels with 'newer' 16" alloys from a 2001 TRD, and they fit perfect.

This is relating to 6 lug Tacoma, Tundra, 4runner

96-04 is first gen and all the same.

05+ is the "newer" second gen and will not fit the same.

if all the spacing and center hole are the right size 1/2 ton Chevy wheels and I think Nissan wheels will work to.
