rear lift questions

hey guys im going to get the ultimate lift kit from toytec and i wanted to know what are shackles and are they better than AAL"S

Not sure what you mean by better, but AALs will give a bit harsher ride than a shackle lift. How high are you thinking about going?

 

im thinking about going 3" front and rear

 

Shackles would be better IMO for the rear.

As much as you want I think. Anywhere from stock height to about 3" from most manufacturers, but Roger Brown makes custom ones I think.

you looking to level it out, cuz 3 inches in the front with 2 inches in the rear will be level

 

The Ultimate kit, will give you 2" lift in the rear, with what ever you go with. So you could get the AAL/2" lift, then get a 1" lift shackle to get the 3". I did AAL and 1" block.
