rear lift

    96 tacoma sx l
    header,short rack and pinion, heavy duty shocks, grill guard, flowmaster exhaust,pacesetter header without catalytic converter, one 10 inch xant sub with a mtx amp, off road lights,diamondplate tool box,rhinolined inside cab,ngk plugwires.
    if i use either blocks or rear shackle lift, 3 inches or les, do i need new shocks and if so why.

    Color Match Grille, Bed mat, Kings with JBA UCA's, Dakars and 34" BFG KM3, Snugtop Canopy, and my "Marshall Fabrication" Rock Sliders.
    Yes, bc the OEM shocks will bottom out and wont ride good. There too short.
    The 5100's are a good shock, I just put mine on last week.

    i have a heavier duty shock on ints a tad bit longer

    I would try it, but if bottoms out, def. get longer shocks.
