    I've got a '96 regular cab 4x4 and wanted to take the bed off, is there a right up or maybe even just some tips for this would be very helpful

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Its pretty easy. Make sure you have some help. Unbolt the bed bolts, unplug or remove the tail lights, then disco the fuel filler neck, and lift off.
