    Hello members...
I have a 2004 Tacoma crewcab and i've been looking for a Lund Sunvisor for my truck. Ive seen them on a crewcab before but Lund does not list this visor for the crewcab...Would anyone have one on their truck between the year 2000-2004 or perhpas had one that was modified to mount on? Thanks Friends....

I have an 03 with the Lund Moon Visor...the part# was not listed for my year because for a short time Taco's came with sun/moon roofs that would interfer with the mounting location. if you don't have a moon/sun roof go for it!!!! Try looking for a 99 model year...the cab design has not changed from those to yours

There is no difference in the general body lines of the different size trucks other then the length of the cab. At least from what I have seen and what I have measured.

well according to Lund the 1995-2001 viosr will not fit the doublecab...Why is this if the lines and cab size are the same?

There's probably a difference in width. Factory spec overall and interior width figures for the 2001 - 2004 Double Cab don't match those for Regular Cabs and XtraCabs of the same period.

It might also have to do with differences in roof bracing (number of braces and / or locations).

I don't know that you'll find much (if any ...) feedback. I've been active on multiple Tacoma-related forums for years, and I'm pretty sure I've never seen a visor-equipped pre-2005 Double Cab. In general, windshield visors don't get a lot of love on the various forums, so they don't show up all that often.

the width of the cabs are all the same in those model years. if you don't believe me or others, start to cross refer. part #'s such as windshields, body "a" pillars etc. When i bought mine i was told it would not fit because of the sun/moon roof. all Tacomas stopped coming with those as of Feb. 03. I bought one, fit it up, it worked, painted and installed...done. If worse comes to worse, buy one test fit...return it if it doesn't fit.

Apparently not the same width. I bought a use visor for the 95-2004 tacoma and the visor is a tad longer then the cab....
