    I also took out my elbow today. Should I replace the elbow before I put a 4" DP in the front of the box?

    Yes, so that your MAF won't set off a CEL when you drive around. You can pick up the stuff from any auto parts store.

    Sorry man haven't been on in awhile. I have a 2.4 in mine and the airbox is the same as in the 2.7. I fit a 4" in mine. Click on the link in my sig if you want to see the pics. I used a jig saw to cut it out... didn't have the right attachments for the dremel to use it. I also took out the silencer. It doesn't gain you anything on paper but the silencer removal gives you a lot more noise, a good growl if you put the hammer down under load. I was very happy with mine, even gave me 2-3 mpg.
