Building a trail truck

Alright so I was talking to my wife today and she is down on making a trail truck..

So I was wondering who makes a good lift? I'm not wanting to go but 3" lift should do good for Alaska..

But first we are going to do rims and tires..

then bumpers and what not..

 

Well.... one, I think Wheels and Tires should come at the same time as the lift. If you are going to be running a bigger tire. IMO

But with the lift, it all depends on what kind of terrain/ offroading you will be doing?

Yes tires should come with the lift but we are going to take are time.

toytec ulitmate lift since its a hardcore trail rig. Then I would go with some black steel wheels since they will get muddy and beat up. procomp has them pretty cheap. Tire is a toss up I like super swamper for extreme offroad

 

If you are making a trail truck a 3 inch lift is a good idea. I would do that first- because if you lift it you can get larger tires. You can save a few bucks by painting your stock rims and wrapping new/upsized rubber around them.

 

Sliders should be near the top of the list too..... along with lots of armor.... you'll save in the long run by getting them early..
