64k, i've owned it for 10k, and the only problem was an O2 sensor going.

clutch pedal is squeaking on and off though. annoying as hell.

I have an '00 Pre-Runner (purchased new in Mar '00 - well appointed) that is absolutely stock, except for Rhino liner in the bed, and black Nerf bars. "NO ISSUES"

The truck is about to turn 20,000 miles (19,9??). I think I put 10 miles since I last posted on this site.

I changed a battery, and the original tires (the aggressive tires were very noisy).

I kind of like the little truck just like it is. Others must like it as well, I'm always getting offers of purchase, with the Tacoma getting bigger all the time.

People have a hard time understanding the low mileage. It's simple really, we're motorcyclists, and we tour "a lot"......!!!

Besides, one needs to go to Lowe's just so often....LOL....!!!

140,000 and nothing but maintenance my s10 that I got rid of to get the taco I only had it for 10k and put $4300 trying to fix the stupid thing. Now I just spend all my money on mods.

237k I have replaced upper/lower ball joints/tie rod ends about 6 mo ago, starter. Then the usual plug, wires cap, rotor etc. Need to replace O2 sensors and the fan clutch is getting weak-thinking about going electric fan and the paint is getting pretty chipped up. I change oil every 3k, it uses none and the oil after 3k looks like it was just poured out of the bottle. Never had a motor do that with hi mileage. Best little truck I have owned.

I have 68k on my '03 TRD SR5 4x4 Double Cab. Truck has been next door to 'bullet proof' since I bought it. The '98 TRD SR5 4x4 Extended Cab I drove previously had just shy of 100k on it when I sold it, and was another 'bullet proof' Tacoma. ..Can't beat these gen 1 trucks with a stick!!

Thumbs up my o3

mine has a 150,000 on the clock. replaced numerous air filters, gallons of oil, four shocks, 3 pumpkin gaskets, an o2 sensor, pass. fender, front bumper, a ton of headlight bulbs, spark plugs, brakes, rotors, and calipers, 2 exhaust gaskets and studs, 2 sets of tires, and a battery. i wouldnt trade my truck for anything. if it was a domestic i would have bought the truck 2 times over

Got my 99 SR5 X-tra cab 4x4 with 57K on the clock 4 years ago. Had to replace water pump due to a weap. did the timeing belt cam seals at the same time. Brakes once, battery once a new set of tires @ 95K. Springs in the rear are getting to the point of replacement, so I am trying to swing the 5100's on all 4 corners with a new set of rear springs. Just noticed a ball joint with a torn boot, but I just hit 101,000 miles and for a 10 year old truck, I cant complain.

34k on my 02 4x4 TRD extended cab. Nothing replaced yet, hasn't needed anything.

Edit: changed out the leaf springs, didn't like how flat they were. Put Alcan stock height replacements. While doing that, swapped shocks for 5100s all around.
