I work at a carwash and my truck has been sent through 2 or 3 times a week leading to about 200 or more times its been washed since i've owned it. Recently the antenna finally took all it could take and it snapped. At first i thought no big deal buy another and screw it in and roll on. Ha, no.

The antenna broke off down in the housing on the outside of the fender, tried easy outs and the GRABIT with no luck. After all these different attempts the remainder of the antenna has lodged itself down in far enough to where it seems you could put another antenna on. Went to every auto parts store around and bought different types with different "One size fits all" connectors. Yep.... You guessed it... None of them fit. Either way too big or way too small.

Gettin really tired of listenin to the same CD and the only channel i get is christian classical... Maybe its a sign huh?

    Any advice i'd appreciate.

The antenna mount is a replaceable item. Buy a new one.
