How hard is the start? My 2000 takes a few cranks, like 5 or so before it gets kickin. in the cold. It seems normal to me and it has never stalled.

How old is the battery? Starter? Look in to those things first. If the battery is over 4 years old then it's probably time to get a new one especially with winter knocking on the door.

mine does the same thing too, it takes about 4-5 times to crank b4 it starts, but i have the opposite problem. when mine gets hot and you cut it off and try to cut it back on between 10min to an hour later, it takes forever to start back up, i figured where the fuel filter sits right under the manifold and it vapor locks, but other than that idk
