Here's mine

Completely stock, except for the "chrome" wheel covers the dealer put on.

Heres my 99 4x4. I got hit by a bus and it bent up my right piece on the bumper so I just removed both of them thats why there missing in the picture. Ive since gotten two new black ones out back on there. I also blacked my valve stems out since this pic and I have some smoked headlights coming in the mail. The only thing left chrome on the truck is the Toyota emblem, Im not sure what to do with that yet.

Heres a picture from about 6 months ago, gives you a comparison of chrome vs black

the first pics are a Glassworks unlimited hood.

The last ones are an 05+ scoop welded and grafted into a steel 99 hood

How hard was it to do? If I can weld and have access to a free scoop and a shop full of tools do you think I could do it? Ive taken two shop classes on body work and painting and all I just have never tried anything like that. Did you do it yourself?

I have a friend the owns a shop to it for me.

the skeleton actually lined up ok ( you need it to bolt the scoop insert down)

here are some progress pics

you also need the 05+ windsheild washer nozzles since they are different

Nice job dude. Someone else on here made one too. I forget who it was though. He got the scoop off of a 4runner though that he found at a junk yard I believe.
