difference in types of headers?

    but chris you gotta remember this is the 1st gen thread I think we are confusing the 2. and just to back up my side. The 2.7l In the 1st gens dont have the VVti. and also some came with 1 cat and others like mine have 2. so on this motor it does make a Differnce in power Long VS short.

    thats just my $0.02

    I have been going back and forth on this for a while now. I have the long tubes, not installed yet, but considering swapping out for shorties. I would love to talk to someone who has had both and dynoed them. I have found many different dyno charts online, and they vary considerably with the gains. It sounds like long tubes benefit track racing guys the most.
