Save the money and the headache. Hit up Walcott CB

I went with the Cobra 18, a T1L fender mount and a K40 4 foot superflex. I already had the coax and the connectors for the cb-antenna run. I also recommend a heavy duty spring.

    how long is your coax?

it seems like everyone says get 18 foot, but if you're mounting it on the fender and running inside the cab, 18 feet seems like a little much.

also could you get pics of your mount?

Here is a pic test fit of antenna/mount and coax. I had about 40' of RG-58 and just cut to length and put a PL-259 on the radio side and some crimp eye connectors on the antenna side.

you need the 18' its all about impedance for the Antenna to work correctly. and yes Wallcotts is awesome. I run the Unidin Pro68 Elite with the Peak and Tune. with the 102" Whip..
