broke a caliper bolt what do I do now?

Well in the worst break job in the history of the world i broke a caliper bolt In a job that should have taken an hour I am now four hours in compleatly screwed what do i do now.

 

did it break going out or comming in? Were you trying to break it loose?

 

It broke coming out it was the bolt that held the caliper to the axle not the two calipers together. I just said fuck it and rolled it to midas this morning the damage 400 bucks 10 % of what I paid for the truck. I would of had to drill out the bolt and tap the treads which wasn't going to happen. the guy said he might have to get a whole new bracket for in that case I am going to e out closer to 700. fml.

 

I know it's done now, but how about one of those bolt remover gadgets that screw into a broken bolt?

How did Midas do it? Weld something to it?
