    No.

Many people (including LEOs) use the PA DOT suggestion as law since thats what everybody knows about, even though the ACTUAL law is you just have to be able to see into the vehicle.

You posted before i edited. I agree with you. I had 15 all around and 25 up front on my Montero Sport. Got pulled over for running a light cause i didn't want to block the intersection and the cop also got me on my tint. Sucked!

Actually according to the CHP website:
However, legislation signed into law effective January 1, 1999, exempts from the above prohibition specified clear, colorless, and transparent material that is installed, affixed, or applied to the front driver and passenger side windows for the specific purpose of reducing ultraviolet rays. If, as, or when this material becomes torn, bubbled or otherwise worn, it must be removed or replaced.

I don't think i would be able to tell the difference between 100% and 90%. Either way if your going to tint. Tint at your own RISK

    *EDIT*
    ^^
    Ehhh Im slow today.

I've had 15 percent for a while now and haven't been harassed. Audio wise I got a Kicker CVR 10 powered by a 650 watt amp. and a sony head unit with an ipod plug in

I'm not saying DONT do it, I have mine tinted too - im just sayin only do it if you're willing to be harassed. I just called 3 different tint shops and asked about CA law and got 3 different answers:

Tint shop 1: Im not sure at this time, i think its like 35-50% holmes.
    Tint shop 2: 70-80%
Tint shop 3: No tint is allowed

I had limo tint on my old jetta for about a year, never got stopped. I got pulled over for reg once and he wrote up the tint too. About a month later, I got cited for having a strip of tint across the front windshield too.

Oh and my mom got pulled over for tint alone, and got ticketed for it.

i haven't been stopped in the taco yet.

I might have my 650 watt amp for sale, that is if my friends don't take it first.

Just called the place that did my window, he said 35 percent is fine its not illegal most new vehicle comes with 35-40% stock.
I've heard of people getting pulled over for stock tint, Only problem with that is that it is made into the glass and cant be removed.

I had to redrill new holes for 3 tabs, And on the 4th tabs i need to weld a plate and drill a hole to make it reach. I found them off of craigslist. I originally wanted wrx seats but people wanted 200-300 for those so i found these for 60.
Only difference between wrx seats and 2.5rs is the wrx seats are firmer and stiffer and have side leg support. this one doesnt. and wrx seats are black with blue.
