My left turn signal comes on whenever i press on the brake. And it just goes on solid and when i let off the brake its works normal again. Anyone have any ideas or have had this problem?

Check the tail light wires for a broken grond, or bad wires.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Is it just the front or the rear? IS it just inside the truck (dash lights) or both (outside and and in)?

Yeah, it sounds like a broken or frayed wire. Those systems are not connected electrically.

nah, if it were a brake light it wouldn't mess with the turn signal. i had a rear tail light bulb out in my 99 taco nd the turn signals worked just fine

ok ive taken a another look at the problem. when i have the brake depressed and i disconnect the tail lights and front turn signals the turn signal on the dash is still on so the issue wouldnt be outside the truck or that light would go out when i unplug it. so it must be under the dash. possibly between the flasher relay or the brake switch?

i had a very similar problem my turn signal arrows would light up when I hit the brake. It turned out to be an aftermarket trailer light wiring I disconnected the little box behind the taillight and problem solved.

    stock, for now
i have this problem every so often also. Mine turned out to be a corroded brake light socket in the tail light. Last time it happened was in Jan, and its been good ever since.
