Sounds like your tires are out of balance. And maybe check your tie rod ends

    Good Luck!

If im not misteaken, if it were your brakes or rotors, u would get vibration in the pedal and steering wheel when u step on the brakes. I have that same problem, vibration at about 60mph, bouncy and shaky up front. I also think its balancing, our tires are out of round. everyone says road force balancing is the way to go.

2 way radio fog lamps factory bug shield factory bed liner
    Possible causes:

    1) Alignment
    2) Tire balance. (Missing a weight on the rim.)
    3) Shocks

I had this problem, it was the shocks. The stock shocks were TERRIBLE. I replaced them, and now the truck handles FAR better. It no longer feels like I'm going to bounce off the road.

    Good luck.

Recently purchased and 03 Pre xtracab w 80,000 miles. Purchased it out of town. When I test drove it, it drove out fine. Never got past 40mph. Paid for it and left. Hit the highway and I would not go faster than 55. Bouncing really bad. Had tire shop rebalance 265-70-16 tires. Helped some. Replaced front struts and shocks (Sensa-tracs installed @ $400) and now drives like it should and rides pretty good.

my friend's 02 tacoma's steering wheel shook a lot and when he took it to the dealership he had a warped rear axle...hopefully this is not your problem though. lol
