    painted the wheels the other night. no sanding at all or prep work. just sprayed them on. I personally think it looks much better and for 5 bucks. its worth it.

    They arent gonna last. A good paint job comes from the prep. there gonna chip easy

    Thanks. I might be picking up a set of those wheels to have powdercoated black and I wondered what they would look like done. I also have the dark red DoubleCab but is lifted with everything blacked-out.

    yeah they definatley arent gonna last long at all....... and IMHO i would want my truck done with quality..... not just $5.00 of spraypaint but whatever floats yur boat

    but right now they look good!

    Trying something different. I only painted the center caps flat black. I put 3 coats of DUPLICOLOR primer and 3 coats of DUPLICOLOR flat black.

    Plastic X'd Flares, deck plate mod, Thrush welded muffler, graphite painted wheels, relocated turn signals, fogs in bumper
    looks pretty good, way better than before... but I hate those style rims with a passion, they are just ugly. I sold my set for $40.. would have taken $10 for them. I'd look out on craigslist for some better tacoma rims

    I took the caps the replaced the rusty old lugs with some black ones. Maybe I'll buy some new wheels in the future.
