This poll is for all the ppl who hate backstabbers who go after their truck.
I was chillin wit my friends today nd my tacoma was parked in a row of cars. I got into a nasty fight nd took off.. i accidentaly drifted the tacoma around a bunch of cars and a backstabbing friend of mine keyed, kicked, and damaged the side of my truck. pix to come soon!
Just curious of how many ppl would go for revenge

Yeah, I would actually report him to the authorities. Ignore my first post.

I should've said I would want to kick his ass, BUT, I would just report it to the police instead. ;)

Yeah it sounds like you need to get some new friends, and remember for the future that you never know with people these days if they will use a gun or a knife or whatever. So I would just leave the area and go home next time because you could get hurt badly, or spend the night in jail!
I also have a hard time understanding what really happened in your story and why exactly you got into a fight, or if you started it or they started it?

As far as revenge is concerned, I'm not sure what you have in mind in doing. But I would take them to small claims court for the damages he did to your truck. :D

Seeking revenge on your own (in an unlawful manner) will make you just as bad as these dipshits. Usually, it just makes adverse consequences for you and leaves you with feeling you hadn't handled it that way. Maybe that's what "they" want you to do. Don't take the bait! If you pursue it at all, do it legally.

i didn't start the fight. it was all becuz we played a prank on my ex's car. nd sum1 carved some nasty stuff into her paint nd now it got bak to me. so wen i sped off to get away from the fight, her new bf kicked the side of my truck and damaged it pretty badly. on top of the damage i have to fix from the person that hit me a few months bak. i mean that damage of the truck makes it a disgrace to drive. but i love my truck so imma keep driving it neways nd imma fix the damage ASAP.

but i know wat u mean. i got no friends now except for my 2 closest friends that stood along side of me and actually love my truck :D.

X2 Probably be much better not involving yourself with such "melvins" in the first place--Guilty by association. Stick with your more mature and respectful friends. Cut the other idiots out. They'll only bring you down.

If I have a problem with someone I'll say it to their face. I'm not a coward whose gonna mess with someones car because we have issues.

If someone damages my truck however I'll lay their ass out as if i was the hand of God...

Sounds like your hanging around other people your age :). Hopefully you'll all grow up soon enough. I was there at one time myself and shit like this happens. Judging by your attitude toward all of this, I am guessing you would've done the same thing if it was your GF getting messed with. Maybe not to his truck but to his face (I would prefer my truck get scratched than my face get broken).

Most key marks can be buffed out. Easy way to tell is to run your fingernail across it. If it falls into the crack, you ain't buffing it out. If you can barely feel it (only see it) it'll come out.

I got in a fight similar to this when my buddies girlfriend was getting beat up and I stepped in to break it up. Got sucker punched from behind and dropped the keys to my dad's Mitsubishi Diamonte into a pile of leaves. Got pretty ugly till I happened to fall on the keys and get my ass outta there. I was so worried about them taking it out on the car as I was trying to get away.

I voted: Brush it off (its a truck its meant to b damaged)

I don't either because I'm older now. I do recognize being a teenager again. Shit like this happened and I am not a violent or angry person. Only fight I've ever been in was the one I just mentioned.
