I was considering building a grillcraft grille for my 01, I want to run a thin piece of metal around the outside of the metal mesh, with tabs mounted on the metal for mounting.
Using the small metal rod, bent to fit the grille shape exactly, should keep it nice and sturdy.

I'm wondering if anyone has some good ideas on how to get the exact shape i'll need. I've already cut out the bars on the grille, should I just trace it onto a piece of cardboard?
