Why not re-upholster the existing seats? :boink:

What year truck is it? And do you have the bench or bucket seats?

You should ask Enola Gaia over at CT (and on here I beleive) I think he has some Recaro's in his SRunner.

I have a 98 sr5 xtracab with 60/40 seats, I want to put bucket seats inside. will any type of toyota seats fit? I have seen some universal sport seats for celica/tercel/tacoma.

you can bolt some stock tacoma buckets in, thats what i did. a lot of people put seats from newer celicas in too, just bracket modification is needed. my friend put some 2000 civic Si seats in his 97 tacoma and we only had to drill new holes in the floor for them to fit correctly.

Corbeau makes a seat an bracket, but it'll run you about $1000. It's the only complete bolt in swap I'm aware of. I'm dealing out options as well since my seats need some love as well

My driver 60/40 bench seat has a 2 wire plug on the bottom of it. What is that for? SRS? What is everyone doing about that with the aftermarket seats? I bought a pair of 01 buckets and the wires are coming out of the bottom but the plug has been cut off. I'm thinking of just cutting the plug off the old seats soldering the wires to the plug. Only problem is the wires aren't marked - both black. I haven't read anyone mention this kind of stuff, just about bolt holes lining up so I do t know anything about it yet!
