Has anyone ever experienced a strange percolating sound which eminates from under the drivers side windshield heater on, while its raining? I bought this 99 4x4 V6 from my brother in law and he babied it, however this noise concerns me a bit since it only happens while water is leaking through it right? I wonder if it might be leaking inside and possibly damaging the inside of the heater?

It sounds like the charcoal canister, should have nothing to worry about.
