I have a few questions that I cant seem to find the answers to, even after asking the dealership. Hopefully I have better luck here. First off Whats the difference in trims for the 2000 Tacoma (Base, SR5, Limited, DLX, and finally Prerunner). I know Prerunners are all 2wd, but anything else regarding things like in cab features? Was there a Tow Package that was available with the 2000 Taco?

Also, these next few questions may be specific to my Tacoma, but how can I tell if I have ABS? Also, A.D.D. (Automatic disconnecting differential)

I know theyre noobish but not even Toyota could help me out here. They were more interested in reading me the features of the 09 Tacomas...

Oh! and where can I find a Tacomaworld Decal?

TacoBob can hook you up with a decal.
Don't know about the rest. best of luck.

for the abs, just take it to a gravel road and slam the breaks. you should feel it then. if not, just look in the fuse box. the add should have a button on the shifter to auto switch into 4wd, but if you are looking at a prerunner then it wont have anything

Ah, ok.. so Limited is kinda like the "sport package' that they have out now for the 2nd gens. Wonder about DLX tho.

I have 4x4 with Standard Transmission so there is no Automatic button (I think the 2 shifter knobs are really cool!) I'll have to try the whole gravel thing but I must admit, I dont think Ive ever driven a vehicle with ABS. Ill have to keep myself from pumping during the test.
