    Lets only post once, and not post a bump 15 minutes later. I understand that you want answers sometime around yesterday, but a lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on ours. Relax. If some one has the answer, you will get it. Don't expect that everyone is jumping at the drop of a hat to fix your problem.

    My point: Don't junk up our forum (or this thread) with constant and useless bumps.

    A few points to note from this thread:

    1) You have plenty of references for getting your parts.

    2) You won't know what you need until you get it apart.

    3) Dealers are almost always more expensive, but OE parts are the correct level of quality.

    4) You own an automobile with over 80K miles. Your maintenance is going to be more and more expensive as time/miles pass.

    Cheers! :drunk:

    So what kit did you end up using and has anyone tried the FCP Groton kit yet? Mine needs to be done and I just got prices from Toyota:

    Timing Belt - $57
    Tensioner - $51
    Upper Idler - $113
    Lower Idler - $142
    Water Pump - $144
    Total = $507

    FPC Groton = $135 + shipping

    I know many people have commented on this, but it sure seems like a big difference.

    FWIW I just did mine a week ago at 156,000 miles (found it to be all original:eek:) and all the idle pullies were in great shape. I doubt you will need to replace them yet. I used all napa parts (gates belt)
