I have a 1996 2.4L with around 130K miles. It has started to do something weird. When I drive it somewhere, turn it off, and then go to restart it shortly after (say from 5 - 45 minutes after it was turned off), it seems to have a tough time getting fuel. It often struggles to turn over. I am planning on taking it to the shop this week, but I would like to be able to tell them something more than that, if possible. Any ideas what might be causing that? I was thinking a clogged fuel line or fuel filter or something, but it only happens in circumstances like I described above, so it is pretty weird.

your fuel pump might be going out, or it could be something to do with your injectors

I think it has been at least 6 years since the fuel filter was replaced.
