I used to love my Volvos but ford took over and turned them to crap. I had an old 850 turbo wagon that a lady texting and driving totaled. So I got a 2004 Tacoma 4WD Xcab offroad manual. With 36K on it.

So far I love the truck but the 3.4L is very loud at 4K RPM and above. High rpm shifts are realy loud. I guess this is a trate of the 5VZFE?

Yea thats why I bought it .I judge quality by how long somthing lasts not how many gimics and useless buttons you can put in the dash. Auto climate control and auto dimming rear veiw mirrors, keyless ignition are all useless crap:mad: I got a toyota because I wanted a straight forward reliable truck with out the B.S.
