    However I think that by changing the fuel filter on my tacoma, the truck seems to be a lot more responsive and quick. The gas mileage seems to be about the same, but thats probably because I am gunning it a little more. :D

    So, I guess the huge hassle was worth it. Anyone who is considering doing it, I say...

    DO IT!!!!!!!

    mileage may get a tad better...depending on how clogged the filter was.

OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
    struggled? its cake to change them on our v6's.

    peace of mind is always good man..................and yeah.......easy as pie to change....alot easier than on the 4 banger.

    not necessarily when your bolts are stuck on there so well, it takes some hammering to move the wrench. lol

    hammering!?!? im just giving you a hard time. mine were froze up a little too, but not bad enough to use a hammer.

    Yeah mine would not budge at all. It was so rough, I truly thought I would break the line.

    I did use PB, however it did not help that much. Still took a hammer to get it out.

    Sould I replace mine? Let me answer my self yes I sould because I have 89,000 miles on a 2000 model, but it is a 2.7L and I have looked in the repair man. and it looks prety hard to get to. the pics in the repair man. had the intake manifold off. I hope this was just for to get a better pic. of it. Does any one have any suggestions on how to remove/install it?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Its under the intake manifold on the 2.7. Best way is to lift the front of the truck, and access it thru the driver side wheel well. Its tight, but doable if you take youre time.
