Hello everyone this is my first post after poking around for several months.

I have an 01 4x4 with a Ranch cap on the bed. I am looking at getting some sort of Ladder Rack to put over the bed and was wondering if anyone has any experience with Kargo Masters. I am looking to put 500+ pounds of equipment on it while stationary.

If anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate them.

Welcome to TW. I think your question was posted in the wrong section. Either way, I don't know much about the answer you need. I'm sure there's got to be a section in here for that. Good luck.

I'm installing a Kargo Carrier rack. It requires modification to length and width to make it fit. My concern is attaching points and the strength of plastic, especially the side rails. There appears to be only two frame attaching points: just inside the tail gate there is a vertical metal piece on each side; and, the front bed bolts attach to the frame. Everything else is plastic.
