3" Lift and MPG

I was thinking about putting a 3" lift on my 01 SR5 and a set of 285 tires. My concern is I drive pretty far to get to work every day and was not sure how much my MPG would suffer. Does anyone know from experience how much MPG I would loose.

 

The tires are going to hurt more than anything, but if you have the cash you can regear to help out a good bit

 

Why new brakes or is that a jk saying that if you never hit the brake you wont loss gas milage.

The tires will hurt you the most, I saw about a 1-2mpg drop. But then I did some performance mods to help with the loss.
you will def. feel the difference but really the way I see it, is its not all that much to really matter.
