90,000 brake fluid flush? ect.

    2003 Tacoma manual 4x4 V6
    6" Drop Bracket Suspension Lift with coil spacers and a 1" body lift. Trailmaster add-a-leaf in in the back with a 3" block.
    I just hit 90K and I am thinking I should do a brake fluid flush. What is the proper way to bleed them?

    1. right rear
    2. left rear
    3. right front
    4. left front

    Let me know if this is right.

    Also as far as changing the transmission fluid is the main consensus to just get it done at an auto body shop since not all of the fluid comes out when just draining and replacing?

    Does everyone replace the boots on the direct coil connection when doing the wires?

    1st or 2nd gen? if 1st gen DONT FLUSH THE TRANNY one of the worst thinks you can do, just drain and refill, if 2nd gen take it to the dealer

    brake fluid flush order is correct

    most people do the boots too

    It is 1st gen. why is it bad to flush the tranny?

    its bad because it can cause the worn metals that are associated with a tranny to go through everything possibly damaging components, just take off your pan, remove a big magnet bolted to the bottom of tranny, wipe it off put it back on, put in a ne gasket, and before putting on new gasket get all the old toyota gasket off, just go to an aamco and ask if you can buy a synthetic gasket because corks tend to get over torqued and leak then replace


    but remember when replaceing take off all toyota glue

    and buy 4 extra quarts of fluid the toyota manuel for D&R is way off

    if you dont feel like wiping off magnet tray just unbolt the drain plug, but be careful it strips easy :D
