Getting A Lift. Could Use Some Help

I want to lift my truck about 2.5-3in. I was looking at the cornfed lifts here. I have a 4cyl 5 lugger (non 4x4). Will the 2.5in complete kit work? (Rancho upgrade)

Anybody have other suggestions for better kits at a similar price?

Also, what else do I need to know about installing a kit. Keep in mind im fairly new to the world of trucks/cars.

I don't haul anything really. Some light offroading may happen from time to time.

will that kit still work? it says for the second gen

sorry bud didnt notice the first gen on your info. that kit is not designed for the first gen.
