Don't worry about it until you get the misfire corrected. They could be related.

vibration is probably caused by skipping cylinder.

Just an idea, alot of aftermarket wires like accel have less impedence than stock making them peform better. Well they perform better on older vehicles that arent controlled by computers, like my 79 chevy BB. I have a 2000 s10 that had a misfiring cylinder and replaced plugs and wires with performance ones. They through the check engine light saying multiple misfires. I went to chevy to talk to my buddy who works in service and he let me barrow a set to see if theyd clear the codes and they did so i used his discount, bought them and havent had any issues since. He said that, in stock system, if the wires impedence isnt matched with coil output it can cause trouble codes and even misfires.

So when you say skipping Cylinder? do you mean caused by the missfire?

I understand the importance of using stock parts for spark plugs, and wires. I have replaced my Sparkplugs with densos, and my NGK wires should be here on tuesday.

Please excuse my ignorance but, do you guys mean that the cylinder is skipping because i have a missfire and the problem could be the wires or coil or something like that?

Or you guys suggesting that i have a missfire because the cylinder is skipping and the problem could be something different?

I know it sounds dumb but just wanted to clarify.

    Thanks

Skipping (misfire) means that the cylinder didn't fire when it was supposed to. You are reading a little too deep into it. You are on the right track so far with the coil and wires. Misfire and skipping are interchangeable words in this case.

ok Thanks just wanted to clarify that, now i read on another forum and it got me thinking... each coil controls 2 cylinders right? so if it was coil that was faulty shouldn't i be having Engine missfire in 2 different cylinders? I am just thinking a little bit ahead just in case the wires don't fix the problem when i get them next tuesday.

Its been a few days since i posted last.

This is where i am right now.

Finally i was able to pass the emission test after i changed the spark plugs reseted the codes and drove for about 20 miles, i went to emission test and passed. :D

Driving back from emission test the CEL comes on again!!!, sames codes P0300 and P0301.

I got the Spark plug wires next day, NGK i installed the new wires and reseted the codes again. 50 miles went by and suddenly CEL again!!.

I went to the Auto hobby shop at the Airforce Base, and i checked for compression on the cylinders, fearing it would be a valve. Fortunetly all looks normal.

Then i Changed the Coil pack from Cyl 1 to Cyl 2 maybe i would get a code for Cyl 2 this time and the coil pack was the problem. 15 miles later CEL light comes again as expected and Missfire on CYl #1 again.

    So....

It is not the Spark plugs, Wires, Valves, Coil.

What else could be causing this problem??? i am out of ideas.

    Please help.

    It could be that injector.
