I don't know. I'll have to remove my bedliner and there is alot of bare metal under there. I'm assuming for now, the bedliner is all that keeps my bed from rusting.

Yeah, I'm quoting myself!.......afterthought......

I know I could remedy the bare metal with some more spray-on bedliner, but, however cheap, it's money I don't currently have.

I can't accurately judge it with out removing the plastic bedliner. I agree about the straps, they gotta go.

Installed, troubleshooted, and finally got my HID lights working after a little splicing... Plug and play? More like cut and pray.

Tomorrow, I'll be hooking up and calibrating my buddy's scangauge that was loaned to me.

I mounted my brushguard finally.

It's crooked in the pictures, but then I spent all damn day trying to get it straight. I got it straight enough and wired the Hellas back up. No pictures of it straight.....it got dark.

looks good toy4life I like it... I retro fitted one from a izuzu rodeo onto my 97 tacoma with 72 blazer frame in like 3 hrs LOL but took forever to get it straight like you said... mine sticks out but I kinda like it...also the blazer frame suck out like 5 inches in front and wanted a way to help hide it without cutting front of frame

I'm in the middle changing to manual hubs and new high angle CV joints. While everything is apart I had the bright (and expensive) idea of changing all the ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings and adjustment cam assemblies. Here's a pic of everything apart...

Did you get the HID's from the group buy? I didn't have any trouble, entirely plug and play here.

Each of the items I take of the truck I am "restoring" from the New England winters (i.e. rust). So, the sway bar was sanded and painted red, the lower control arms were wire-wheeled and painted gloss black, the knuckles were wire wheeled and painted cast grey...you get the idea. Also extended the mounting brackets for the sway bar, so they will be more in line with the new ride height. Hubs are done, went in pretty slick, I opted for a 20 ton air over hydraulic press recently, so I gave it a good work out this weekend (14 times). Waiting on lower control arm bushings sleeves now...
