02 ext cab cat-back exhaust, k&n replacement filter, 5100 billy's, hellcreek 1.5" rear spring packs, 882 OME coils, Toytec 2" AAl, stainless brake lines, Light Racing UCA, 1" diff drop, BPV bracket, 4" deck plate mod, 886 fog light backup light mod, tom woods one piece drive shaft, spider trax 1.25 spacer.
ok i got a 02 xcab with 265/70r16 again( yeah i know i down sized for a few weeks till my big horns come:D), and i put billys up front all the way up to 2.5 and on the rear i put new leaf packs in that were suppose to give me 1.5" of lift. well for the hell of it i just measured from the ground to the fender and this is what i got:

    front: driver side =37 1/8" passenger side= 37 7/16"

    rear: driver side= 36 3/4" passenger side= 37"

now i was wondering what everyone else may have. along with that i'm having my dad make me some bumpers( has his own welding company, i know lucky me) and i was thinking of putting some spacers on the front. now should i got with the 1/4" or 1/2" ones to make up for the weight of the bumpers, and for the rear i was thinking either shackles or an aal, what size do you guys think i should run for the rear too.

I have an 04 Taco 4X4 SR5 with 265/70/R16s (for Now) with Toytec Ultimate and AAL. I ended up with 38 1/4 frt and 38 3/4 rear.

dont have a clue on the spacers other than it is not the best way to lift

well i was basically going to use the spacers to make up the lift i'll loss from adding the bumpers, and maybe to get a little more.

yeah usually the driver side is lower ha ha the "tacoma lean" just wondering if anyone has suggestions about the other things, and maybe solving it.

Do you really notice the difference between all four corners? I wouldn't think you would be able to tell with that little of a difference, but idk.

You could put OME 882 coils up front, they are made to be used with heavy bumpers/winches. If you did that though you would have to put your billies down to stock setting(maybe .85", but I think it would ride rough, idk).

I don't know if you can use an AAL with a lift pack or not, I would probably go with shackles.

*Note: I have not lifted my truck yet and have no actual real world experience with any of these products. I just read the forums, A LOT. :D

Im about at those measurments in the front with my coilovers (never adjusted them) in the rear Im higher because I have an AAL and shackles. I like them both. The only problem with shackles is that when I have a bunch of weight in the back it flattens the leaf out more.

yeah i can't really tell the difference looking at it but when i measure yesterday i was like damn it ha ha. so what do you guys think of the Eibach front coils that you pair up with the billy 5100's how much lift can i get with those or would it be best to do with the OME ones. then the big question is how big of an aal or shackle am i going to need?

A corner can be lower or higher based on tire height. If diffent size tires or a new tire on an axle with an older tire

The Eibach coils are supposedly a 3 inch lift, but like the OME coils you would have to set your billies back to zero so you aren't really gaining much. I think you can run those springs with the billies at .85" but it will ride rough.

The reason I suggested the OME 882 coil is that particular coil is made to put on trucks with heavy bumpers, winches, etc.

Really if it was me I would get your bumpers put on and see how much it takes away from your lift front and back and then see what you need to do to get back to where you want to be. What kind of bumpers are you going to have made? Because a tube bumper isn't going to squat you as much as a heavier ARB type bumper, for instance.

thanks yeah i was thinking along the lines of an ARB type bumper, and i know that if you get a 2" shackle you get 1" i was just wondering if a shackle of an aal would be the way to. i'm slowly learning the way of the tacoma ha ha i used to be a jeep guy, but i'm finding out it's a whole different ball game with the whole IFS thing.

Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
I went with shackles, and they work pretty good. If your leaf springs are old they will begin to negative arch with the longer shackles though:(

well my springs are not even a year old and i got them from hellcreek suspensions, and their springs are suppose to bring my truck up to a half ton payload so i should be ok with them.
