Deckplate Mod

    i just did the deckplate mod on my tacoma and i was wonderin if i can leave it open in the rain? :burnrubber:

    02 ext cab cat-back exhaust, k&n replacement filter, 5100 billy's, hellcreek 1.5" rear spring packs, 882 OME coils, Toytec 2" AAl, stainless brake lines, Light Racing UCA, 1" diff drop, BPV bracket, 4" deck plate mod, 886 fog light backup light mod, tom woods one piece drive shaft, spider trax 1.25 spacer.
    oh yeah you can i leave mine out 24/7, the only time you may want to think of puting the cover back in is when you are going through deep water that may get into the air box. but besides that you can leave it open.

    I heard after the d mod you need to unplug the battery for a few min to reset the computers air fuel mixture calculation. Anyone else know of this???

    yeah it gets to soundin good about 3 grand.
    mine was white so i had to paint it black. im glad i did it i can tell the difference :burnrubber:

    You could pull out the EFI fuse if you wanted, but the computer's smart enough to adjust itself so you don't really have to do anything.

    Yeah I love it... you can totally tell there is an intake mod, and with exhaust it's even better.

    they only had white so i had to paint it. the blue sensor safe silicone kinda pisses me off but o' well


    i was wondering what the silencers off was like too? anyone do it?
