    I'm visiting family and don't have my chilton book, how do I remove the rear brake drum to get at the outer axle seal? So I need to turn the big ring in the center of my axle? or will it be the 4 bolts on the back of the drum?

    Are you trying to take the axel out of the axel housing? Or do you already have that done and you are theying to separate the backing plate from the axel shaft to get to the baring and seal?
