I have a bad ass toyota. I would take my truck over any chevy or ford, unless the big truck was towing the toyota. No bad words towards the taco

Most people even my buddies with diesels give me props on my truck. The only one that talked a lot of crap was my room mate saying my truck was weak and slow. He shut up though after I smoked his F150 on the strip.

"Why don't you trailer your truck? It might break"

Only had one serious break, but that was my fault. Seriously what truck can you drive straight out to the desert in, beat the hell out of it for an entire weekend, drive it home and go to work in it the very next day? Ok maybe a Hummer H1.

let them all talk shit till they call you one night begging you to come pull them out. that shut this one smart ass up. he has a 1999 chevy 2500 4x4 with like a 5" lift. he called me at midnight one night asking if i knew anyone who could get him out. i went out tugged him out in my 2wd prerunner but first i made him admit his truck is a peice of shit.

i've heard all the comments, the last gm i brought was a S10 and it blew up with 135k on it. since then i have brought 3 toyota's. my ex is still driven one of them. my son tells me it has 235k on it. i have a taco with 265k and a FJC with 100k on it. i will never buy anything but toyota. however i do have a 1948 ford 8n tractor that i'm rebuilding the motor and restoring. it has been a great motor also!

I get some crap about driving a yota, but then I relate my experience of driving them in Afghanistan and people usually quiet down. I also get some crap for having a short bed, I say its my truck and I am building an overland vehicle, not a weekend hauler.
