What parts should I add to my frame swap?

My parts are slowly coming in for the frame swap on my 2001 4X4 Access Cab.
I'll have new shocks/struts replaced but curious what I should get. I'm sure new stock shocks would be an improvement over my originals. Should I get something else? I'm getting discount prices on all the parts.

Considering Upper Control Arms but I figure if they aren't included in the kit, they really aren't needed. I would replace the UCA bushings.

Engine/tranny will be out of the frame so maybe a new clutch w/parts. I'll have some labor cost here but has to be cheaper than having the tranny IN the truck.

I'm taking advantage of the no labor charge. Much easier (and quicker) for the mechanic to work with all new parts.

My dealer is treating me great. The mechanic that will do the work has worked on my trucks for years. He kept telling me that my frame was rusty. Now with the new program, I'm getting a new bottom.

Some worry about the operation.
Why?
The parts being replaced are common items, just it's easier now. Less grime and brand new parts.

I understand there is a corrosion kit to be applied after the job is done. Toyota isn't going to let the new parts fail.

What do you think?

 

seeing hat its 9 years old while they it apart id replace
both c.v. shafts
all u joints
clutch
and change all the fluids and oil (rear dif, front dif, tranny, transfer case , motor antifreeze , ect...)
and if anything is leaking replace it
water pump (if haven't replaced yet)

I had the lower ball joint recall done at the same time.this fit in nicely with the new LCA's...
Depending on how you drive/use your truck will be the deciding factor with shocks;I did upgrade and they matched my outside price for these...

The invoice on mine does include new fluids;brake and anti-freeze plus they re-worked my E-brake system ( master techs are great )

I wish that I had done the CV shafts because not a month later a Boot tore....and yes It was replaced by an OEM...warranty is that good....

I'll make a list and give it to the mechanic with a note if needed, go ahead and replace. Usual delivery is next day for parts.

My truck didn't fall into the ball joint recall. The mechanic did a background check to see if any past recalls pertained to my truck.

The truck came from VT, one of the concerned states. Now it's in Iowa.
