need help with rear suspension

Hey guys I got a couple of questions...I'm getting king coilovers in the front and setting them to 3 inches.....now for the rear I was thinking just for now for the rear either getting my stock leafs rearched or getting 1.5 or 2 inch shackles.....I haul my dirtbike when I go out camping so just for now I was gonna get 1.5 or 2 inch shackles or get my stock leafs rearched....will I be okay with the shackles for later am I gonna have problems with leaf sag or will it be worse if I rearche my leafs

I've heard a few guys talk about Toyota's rather soft steel/weak spring & after looking at mine I'd probably agree with them, I'd maybe add a leaf to existing springs (as long as they aren't completely sacked) I don't know if the OEM springs will hold a "re-arcing" proceedure this is on the "cheap"fix of things, if not get a new leaf pack........

If you go with shackles you will have to re route your exhaust. If you are looking for cheap then an AAl would be fine while you save up. I wouldn't get them re arched though. By the time you get that done you will have spent a good chunk to have the same OEM springs.

dont use shackles if your stock leaf pack is already sagging, it wont do anything. i'd look into an AAL pack or just a straight AAL if money is tight. like this http://www.iconvehicledynamics.org/c...products_id=75

and also, cranking up your CO's to 3" lift is gonna make your truck ride very uncomfortable. you'll prob want ot max out at 2.5"
