    Performance- bored .20 over, Doug Thorely Headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, and K&N cold air intake. Exterior- Trail Gear Solid Axle Swap, ARB compressor, high pinion 4.88 with ARB locker, 4.88 TRD Locker in the rear. Interior- 2 10inch JL W1 subs, Alpine MRX-V70 amp, Alpine type R SPR 17C 6x6 speaker in the back, Focal 165 VR with crossover tweeter up front, and Weather Tech floor mats.
    Alright as you all know its tax time, which means im getting paid lol. Gonna rebuild the engine and lift the truck 4 inches. Anyone have an idea of what lift to get and where i should go to buy it? Id like to get pro comp personally

    pro comp makes a 4" DB lift for the first gens, or at least they used to IDK if it's still avail. what kinda budget you looking to work with and what kind of wheeling you planning on doing? these are important details to help us decide how to spend you money :D

    Yes Pro Comp does make a 4 inch for the 1st gens. Around 2 grand and im more into mudding not so much flexing just hitting some mud holes.

    3 inch suspension lift, night shades corner and blinkers projector headlights with halos and 3 led's 18 inch kmc xd rockstar wheels,275/65/18 kelly safari tsr's, bush whacker fender flares 7 inch touch screen, 2 kenwood 12's, Magnaflow exaust single in dual out,
    just for mud i would just get a spacer lift. if thats the only kind of offroading you do. thats about all i use mine for any more and i have a spacer lift off ebay with a aal. in the back unless you just really want to spend 2 grand on a lift. Personally i would just get a spacer lift and lockers.. front and rear and possibly gears..

    Not a big fan of spacers i dont like how much stress it puts on the front end, plus i loose down travel

    how does the 4 inch lift compare to a set of good coilovers and uca's? deaver or alcan leaf pack and new rear shocks or maybe just a aal. and new shocks. you would spend about the same, maybe a little more but probably get a better suspension than a "kit" from somewhere...

    IMO...
    If your looking to spend that kinda money on a kit..why not something with coil overs included? Or even piecing together some coil overs, an add-a-leaf, etc to make a kit?

    Im rebuilding it cause it has a knock in cylinder one, it only has 168k miles. If i where to get that how would i solve the angle problem?
