Jacking points on stock Tacoma bumpers

I have stock Tacoma bumpers on my truck and was wondering if they would be ok to use as load bearing jacking points? In other words, will my bumper rip off if I try to raise 2 wheels off the ground at the same time? The look like they are bolted to the frame but definitely not a class 3 hitch.

cant you just put the jack stands on the axle? or are you replacing suspension components and need the rear axle free?

 

I wouldn't try it. Get floor jack and jack stands.

You can't do that man. Use either the frame or the axles. The bumper will not support it's own weight let alone the whole trucks weight.

 

There's certainly no place to raise the front bumper like that and I wouldn't try it with the rear bumper as they are easily bent. You can check my pics to see how easy the rear will bend and damage.

 

Thanks, I normally use jack stands but saw the hook attachment for the Hi lift jack and wondered if it would tear my bumper off.
