So if I do a 3" lift I definitely should go wider on the tires? Can ya put 285's on the stock rims as I have 265's right now?

ya dont have to go wider or narrower, but the front tires are already quite close to the stock upper control arms with 3'' lift and stock 265/70/16. You can go with 265/75/16's there an inch taller but same width. to run 285/70/16's on stock wheels with a 3'' lift ya definitly need either a spacer or wheels with like a 4-4.25'' backspacing.

Def. go 285's for a 3" lift! Looks way better, and yes... You will need wheel spacers for stock wheels or after market wheels with 4.5-4" BS.
I did rub quite a bit when I had my stock wheels with my 285's and quickly got new wheels.

But my next tire I think Im ganna go with a 295/75/R16 though, (Maybe...). that size comes out to being a 33.5" tall and 11.6" wide tire. Still unsure.... I just think it would look a little better with a little bit wider tire, and a little taller.
