I have a 96 Tacoma with a 3.4 v-6 and was wondering what exhaust sounds best? I dont want a 40 series Flowmaster, all I want is a good sounding exhaust that will give me tone and not sound like a stupid punk kid :) Thanks

OK well maybe a was being stereotypical on the 40 series. In my 4 banger it sounded like a rice burner.

I really like my dynomax super turbo. I did it after I heard Will's. So I am sure he would agree with the dynomax.

Not only does it not sound loud as hell, its also a better flowing exhaust compared to some of the others.

FYI* On Amazon you can sometimes get some for $30-$50

Since this is up, I'm not going to start another thread. I need a muffler for a 2.7.

something not raspy but deep...deep all the way through.

What did you end up buying? How did the muffler shop do that? without welding?

Interesting...did you put the stock tailpipe back on? I did that for my 40 series and it sounds nice. It's not particularly loud, but it is distinct and has no ricing whatsoever.
But ya it sounded like shit before I welded the tailpipe back on.
