Okay so lately i've been noticing this rattle/ banging noise in the back of my truck when i hit bumps sometimes. sounds like the box wasnt bolted down or something to the frame. i noticed it the other night driving home. stopped and had a look but didn't see anything so i just figured it was ice and snow hung up somewhere. drove it for the next few days. most of my driving is highway so i never really noticed it that bad until tonight. i was driving my girlfriend home and i stopped and had a look under it again at her house with a flash light and just as i was about to give up again i noticed my pass side rear shock was broken. now its not broken in the shaft or the bolt or anything. the shock tube is actually busted off the eye of the shock on the rear end. i couldn't believe it. clean break. never seen anything like it. needless to say the fella who owned the truck before me and lifted it the 3" it is still now didn't put lift shocks on it to and the shock finally had the biscuit and decapitated it self.

i was looking at the skyjacker N8027 and the tough country 61261 shocks.

anyone have any feed back on these two? or any others i should consider for a good price.

i will get pics up asap.

    cheers
    Brett

Why not pay a little more and get quality shocks like the Bilstein 5100?
